What  we do?

One-on-One Counseling

We offer free counseling from expert business counselors. They will help you learn what you need to know to achieve your business goals. Use the knowledge and experience of our counselors to make your business grow and succeed.
No matter what kind of help you need, or what kind of business you have, we have someone who can help. SCORE Counselors come from many business backgrounds: marketing, manufacturing, service, sales.
 
When you request counseling and schedule a time and place for your first meeting, you will have a one hour consultation with a SCORE Counselor for free. After that, you can contact that counselor for more consultations whenever you would like advice. There is no limit to the number of meetings you can have or how often. There is no charge for this services.

We have written over fifty briefs on many business topics, including:

You will receive free copies of those briefs relevant to your business during your counseling session.


Business Workshops

SCORE conducts a beginning workshop called "Starting and Nurturing Your Business" about three times a year - September through May. This provides a general overview of the things you should know and think about before you begin your business or that will improve your currently existing business. These workshops are always informative and interesting and have been praised by attendees and the Small Business Administration. There is no charge for these services. There is a nominal charge for these workshops to cover the cost of printed materials handed out to each participant.

SCORE offers nationwide E-mail Counseling through the National SCORE web site.
